Jessica Ellen Cornish is an English singer-songwriter who goes by the stage name Jessie J. Jessie became famous early on for her unusual music style that is a blend of soul, hip-hop, pop and electropop. In addition, she has won several nominations and awards, like the 2011 'Critics' Choice Brit Awards' as well as 'BBC's Sound of 2011.' Her career began at the very young age of 11, when she was featured in 'Whistle Down the Wind,' an original musical composed created by English composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. Then, she joined the National Youth Music Theater and was part of their 2002 production"The Late Sleepers". The year 2011, when she made headlines when she released her debut album 'Who You Are'. The album was a huge success, selling 105,000 copies in the UK and 34,000 copies in the US in just the first week of release. Jessie's album also made it to second place in the Charts of UK Albums, and number eleven on the US Billboard 200.
