Robyn Rihanna, better known as Rihanna in Barbados is an Barbadian musician and singer who has given us hits songs like Pon de Replay Umbrella SOS and Take a Bow. Rihanna is among the most successful performers ever. When she was at her best, she's already sold 150 million songs and 41 million albums around the world. Born in Barbados she grew up listening to reggae music, and began singing in the age of young. In a state of discontent from the chaotic life of her family as well as conflicting with her parents, she became immersed in music, and soon decided that she would like to make it as a professional. In high school she formed a rock group and was then invited to perform for Evan Rodgers. The producer was impressed by her talent. The singer moved in New York so that she could pursue her full-time singing career. Her debut album quickly became a hit and she was hailed as a music sensation. Rihanna's peppy songs were the preferred choice of young fans which influenced her to pursue film. Rihanna is now regarded as an influential fashion and young idol. Rihanna is known for positive causes and actively contributes to a number of organizations.
